In coordination with Louisiana Department of Health and Louisiana Medicaid, Louisiana Medicaid recipients will now be able to carry a digital version of their Medicaid health plan card. This release includes United HealthCare, and additional Medicaid health plan cards will be launched over the next few months.
This update also introduces an Emergency Hotlines feature in the menu where citizens can locate important resources, such as natural disaster resources, suicide prevention, and more.

LA Wallet now allows you to optionally link your child/dependent’s COVID-19 SMART Health Card. For information on this update, please see the LA Wallet social media pages or the COVID-19 page on our website. You may also use the Health Card Assistance option in the menu for support.
Other updates include the ability to register and display your Organ Donor status in the menu, the ability to keep all credentials linked to your account when logging out or switching devices, and other bug fixes.

LA Wallet’s SMART Health Card now supports displaying of COVID-19 Test Results from participating laboratories. As always, the data comes from a trusted source - the laboratory that performed the test - and is only shared with whom you choose to share it with. LA Wallet’s latest update includes a redesigned SMART Health Card that makes it even easier to show your vaccine status with a more user-friendly layout, and the Share button makes it easy to add your Vaccination Record to Apple Health or CommonPass.
LDWF Users can now view their tags in LA Wallet. With the tap of a button, you can begin to validate your tags, either by phone, text (if enrolled in Text-to-Tag), or online. Once validated, the confirmation number will display with the tag as proof that you reported that tag.
Additional updates include support for Direct Verification Links for Verify You Pro companies, a menu link for Organ Donor Registration, support for displaying Autism and Needs Accommodation indicators on the driver’s licenses, and other bug fixes.

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) licenses are coming to LA Wallet! Starting October 18, 2021, you will be able to add your Louisiana hunting and fishing licenses easily by tapping the credential in the card stack on our newly re-designed homepage.
LA Wallet’s new homepage now displays a card stack for all your credentials available in LA Wallet, including your Louisiana Digital Driver’s License or State ID, LDWF Credentials (coming October 2021), and your SMART Health Card.
Additionally, LA Wallet’s SMART Health Card now has a button to refresh the SMART Health Card to retrieve any recent vaccinations or boosters that are available for you. You can share your SMART Health Card to CommonPass, Apple Health, or other health apps that support SMART Health Cards. Users who have trouble retrieving their vaccination records from the Louisiana Department of Health can now tap Health Card Assistance in the menu to get support with locating your information.
As always, you are in complete control of your information in LA Wallet. Your information is only stored on your device, can be removed at any time, and is only shared with those you choose to share it with.

LA Wallet's SMART Health Card now displays details of each COVID-19 vaccination and includes support to display booster vaccinations. This release expands the Verify You capabilities to support SMART Health Card scanning and verification for businesses. (Please note: You are in complete control of your information. Your health data is only shared with those who you choose to share it with. You can choose to opt-out of using SMART Health Cards or remove your data at any time.)
Additional updates in this release include improvements to the process of linking your license or ID to LA Wallet, as well as improvements for the process of renewing your license through LA Wallet.
